Originally from Goa, India, my parents first settled in Montreal where I was born. Our family of five then moved to Toronto where I still reside. I love the cultural diversity of Toronto and how it allows me to be me! The connection between me and my Indian culture has been strong since I can remember. I have been traveling to and from all my life, spending a lot of time in Bombay and in more recent years seeing a lot of the other areas in the North. India has always been a place where I draw inspiration from- the colours, smells, tastes, and textures is why I do what I do!
I am a creative person who's dabbled in painting, illustration, interior design, and a personal favourite of mine- Life drawing. I have a diploma in Graphic Design but strayed away from that somehow and ended up doing what seemed so obvious. Makeup Artistry which I feel I've been doing forever and combining that with my love of jewelry- jewelry from India. I believe that I have a unique style in both my jewelry collection and the makeup that I do. Banglez jewelry which cannot be found in your local mall is individually selected to reflect diverse looks including Bridal, Bollywood, Victorian and African and I am able to complete these looks with the art of makeup. I completely enjoy what I do as an expression of my creativity and continue to strive to bring new designs and fresh new looks as a Makeup Artist and Jewelry Stylist.
